When I first came across a group on DA, it was horribly snobby and wanted the best of the best to submit art for them to observe in their monocles and sip their high grade red wine to. Others were completely dedicated to somebody that thought they were god themselves. To say the least it really made me lose any interest in joining a group. (I have joined one unofficial one though because I liked her character and she was a good friend.) Anyways I really lost interest in joining any other groups on DA because none were for me or required something silly like daily pictures or monies.

Until today I had nothing more on DA but an account overlooked many times but now I have something that encourages me to go on. Sazuki-chan made a group.

This group is very encouraging because it supports all OCs and fan characters rejected by the snobby groups and supports all artistic levels. I was very excited to become a co-founder as well as a contributor to the galleries it offers. It has given me a greater goal in mind and encourages me to keep working on my art.

The group is and I advise that all of those who watch me and create OC's or fan characters to join and strengthen the community we are working to build. I'm hoping to see my good friends in there and strengthen or create some new friendships.

I really didn't think people would accidentally find me that much with my lack of art. Well I'm about to do a picture that follows one of Sazuki-chan's and I'll do my best to show some major improvements in my style like I try with each work. Maybe I'll be done this month if I stop screwing around and actually get to it with a cheery attitude and a clear mind before I begin raging on my quivery hand messing up my lines.

Hoping my next 1k will come withing the next year or two but you guys are awesome, I'm glad I came here and showed what I could do. Probably more things to come with art class next semester and that's nearing us sooner or later. I've fixed my scanner so I'll throw in some sketches for free in celebration of me overcoming the cocky printer hybrid.

◆When did you start drawing?
I think it was around the 2nd grade to impress Sazuki-chan |3.

◆Which hand do you use for drawing?
Right.

◆Which is easier to draw - male or female?
Male, draw them almost all the time. Should probably work on that |D;.

◆Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Short, then I don't have to think about the fluffies from wind as often.

◆Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
I find it's always easier with it to the right, no idea why.

◆Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
Front definitely, working on improving my side views though.

◆What do you have problems in drawing?
Maintaining my inspiration, ragequitting, perfectionism, designing original clothes, and poses.

◆What do you like to draw?
Mostly sonic characters, weapons, and my other characters.

◆Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
Somewhere in between. I love drawing sketches with my traditional manors but I cannot colour traditionally, leading to me going digital.

◆Where do you start drawing from?
Depending on what I'm drawing it could be a wireframe or a head outline. All about familiar posing.

◆What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
I either rage a lot or go into a drawing coma. Depends on my mood and the amount of interruptions I have/problems with the picture.

◆Any tips for coloring/shading?
Read up and apply techniques. Test them and keep practicing.

◆How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
Depends on my current situation. If I have nothing else to do it could be an hour or some from my perfectionism kicking in, or the occasional picture I enjoy and go along with. On average I'd say 20 minutes to 1 hour or so for a sketch and 1 hour to 4 hours for a drawing depending on my fussiness.

◆What music do you listen to while you draw?
Video game, Techno, Metal, Trance, Rock, Punk, and some other stuff. I use music to inspire my work and the emotions behind them. Really helps I think. Sometimes it inspires me to draw something.

◆How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
Can't really say. They just come into my head and move my hand to draw it. If I try to force myself to draw then around 2-20 minutes or looking around and thinking about it.

◆Your favorite drawing utensils?
Mechanical pencil, eraser, Photoshop, and paint for lolz.

◆Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
Rather obvious from my OC, it's shades of Blue :3

◆Your favorite style(s)?
Video game art, landscapes (Which I don't draw and will work on in art class most likely.), Portraits, and comics.

A creative video game design artist with products that can blend in with others of great skill.

Hey guys, just wanted to confirm something I noticed. After having on and off art for such a long time due to the lack of inspiration caused by my previous school Widdifield I found that when I switched to Scollard that I actually want to draw again! : O It's a miracle and 3/4 of a subway sandwich.

Everything feels so amazing that I actually brought back the fire from the embers of my passion, I feel like everything is going to go alright. I'm surrounded by people I can relate to entirely and get along with easily. I was at a loss for words describing the reaction entering that school but I think I found a special quote from a certain F-Zero character. "Yes! Come on!"

Anyways I'm drawing Keyblades and stuff as I recover entirely so I wouldn't mind taking some requests if you want one of my silly paint created fan Keyblades, just give me some information and I'll do my best for you. I'll take 3 requests maximum, look at the previous Keyblades to see what you'll expect. these will be done between the CITS Keyblades I'm making for Sazuki-chan and schoolwork so get them while I still have freedom :3

Other than that I'll most likely be submitting sketches and computer art I deem worthy of slight public attention more often than once a month if everything continues the way it does. I'll still be lurking on DA to comment and stalk others like i always do when I'm sent by a random link to this site, have nothing else to do, or Sazuki-chan harasses me to go see her next art piece.

Until then I'll be attending to Sazuki-chan's wants and needs. ;3

I'm lazy, but perhaps not lazy enough as to not submit more arts like Future Spark. I rather enjoyed mixing my art skills together to create that and I might try to hone some skills in line art and value. Hopefully more previous art to be coloured soon.
